Christmas is here

It came three weeks too soon this year…

In January I’ll have a gift

That will give my family a lift

 

But right now it’s famine time

Haven’t got much more than a dime!

So I’m depressed but not distressed

2016 will be the best

 

A breakthrough year, it’s plain to see:

Social Security, Medicare, a pension — and De!

 

Gotta resurrect that hombre!

Make sure he’s a top nombre

So when people remember Star Trek’s 50th this year

They’ll remember DeForest Kelley with a rousing cheer!

 

So let’s all toast to the REAL McCoy

The man who gave his fans such joy

That we still miss him here below

Even as we celebrate his afterglow…
