I’m in touch with one of the NEW DAY producers at KING5 TV. He has confirmed that they want me as a guest on Tuesday, August 2nd. As soon as I know the exact date, I’ll let you know in case you want to drive up for the taping or be sure to tune in to catch it.

 

I’ll try to get a copy of the appearance and permission to post it on my blogs and book website so other interested parties outside the KING5 viewing area can see it (Kelley/Trek fans and non-competing radio and television producers).

 

I’ve sent multiple images from my Kelley archives so they have something to put in the background while we’re chatting.  Photos of the De and Carolyn with Deaken and me will make a nice backdrop, as will an image of the book cover.

 

I hope they’ll post a runner that reads something like “ENGAGE with Kristine M. Smith and her books at YellowBalloonPublications.com.”

 

Today I ordered a 2′ x4′ outdoor-quality (sturdy, fade-resistant) banner for the Spokane convention table. It will have an image of the book cover on the left-hand side and the following on the right-hand side:

It cost $30 more than the indoor banner of the same size but what the heck…

 

I laminated a large photo of De and me so I can take it to the convention, too. And I’m having a poster of the book cover made, too.  Gotta have a professional display when I go places from now on. Now’s the time to prepare for that.

 

I wonder if I ought to add “As seen on (New Day Northwest logo)” to the banner I’m having done. I would need permission to do that, I think.

 

I’ll email him and ask…

 

I could also add “As seen in USA TODAY.”
