This week I landed three new clients.
Two of them are local business owners, which is unusual, but they’re both going concerns with stellar reputations.
The other is a French lady entrepreneur who has a line of cruelty-free, toxin-free cosmetics. She’s also a coach who shows other entrepreneurs how to start their own cosmetic lines.
One of the locals hasn’t given me anything to do yet, but he says he will shortly. He wants me to write an advertorial (or a straight ad) about his horse trailer repair services for a horsemen’s publication. (Possibly my Nov-Dec 2016 Cowboys and Indians article about DeForest Kelley’s western career had a hand in that.) His full-time business is repairing vehicles and RVs of all kinds, but this publication will get a lot of eyeballs on it soon and he wants to make an appearance in it.
The other two have already used me to edit for them and were sufficiently impressed by the result that they gave me nice bonuses and want to continue to work with me. I’m very happy to do so. They’re both terrific to collaborate with.
I just had to jump off to do a RUSH job for another client. It never rains but it pours!
Am I complaining? Heck, no! BRING IT ON!
Remember the old saying, “If you need something done, ask a busy person!”
It’s true!
Busy people are super efficient! We have to be, or we get behind!!!
Ask any mom with two or more kids…
Or any auto shop with three or more vehicles…
Or any hospital with two or more emergency rooms…
Or any dog with two or more yards to guard…
Or any racehorse with two or more pastures to run in…
You get my drift.
Busy beings get stuff done!
And now I’m weary and am going to shut down this computer and start deescalating toward slumber so I can fall asleep sometime before 9 PM.
Sweet dreams!
