TWO NEW LONG-TERM CLIENTS
It appears that my two newest clients–at long last–have ongoing needs for a copywriter, and they want it to be ME! WHEEE!
I do so many one-off small projects that I have become used to searching for work pretty much non-stop.
Now it looks like I’ll be able to look less and write more, and I couldn’t be happier.
Both of these new clients offer insights, products and/or services that I would stake my own reputation on–as does my other long-term client–so I’m extremely happy to have landed them.
I don’t know how often they’ll be using me, but I do know they will be using me whenever they need a good copy or content writer. And I’m not looking for boatloads of work, just enough to keep me earning while saving a little of it each time.
I’ve been looking for long-term clients for years. One of these new ones says he has clients he will definitely recommend me to, too (small business owners who need copy and content writing), so that will be good…
I despise the hours I spend looking for work. I’d much rather spend it helping someone succeed by writing their stuff. That’s why I got into this business. I love dancing with words and witnessing what my clients say when I deliver my first presentable drafts to them. Almost universally, they are blown away…flabbergasted…thrilled and then some, except for maybe a word here, or a phrase there (easy as pie to change and fix).
I literally “get high” on serving my clients. It’s truly a RUSH to make someone’s day using my words! Very little else gives me a grin the way doing this does!
I’m in the right business for all the right reasons, that’s for sure!
